Collections

Collections facilitate the creation of subgroups of datasets within a project, enabling users to define a specific set of datasets for analysis or visualization.

Two-Part Form

The Collection submission form consists of two parts. First, you fill in the required fields. Once you click "Create and continue," the collection entry is created, and you can continue editing it on the second part of the form, which contains all the fields.

Collection fields:

  1. Name: Each collection must have a unique name within the project (required).
  2. Project: You can only select projects for which you have change-permissions. If the project list is empty, you must first create a project through the project page (required).
  3. Datasets: All datasets included in the collection must belong to the selected project (required).
  4. Description: A text description of the collection, which helps in providing additional context and information.
  5. Tags: Tags offer a way to organize and label collections for quick identification and filtering purposes.

Permissions

Collections inherit permissions from the associated project. You can only add datasets to the collection that is part of the same project.

Collection API Access

The API allows for programmable access to collections. For detailed information about the Collections' fields and data structure, please refer to the API documentation on the Collection API endpoint.
