Cohorts

Cohorts facilitate the creation of subgroups of subjects within a project, enabling users to define a specific set of subjects for analysis or visualization.

Two-Part Form

The Cohort submission form consists of two parts. First, you fill in the required fields. Once you click "Create and continue," the cohort entry is created, and you can continue editing it on the second part of the form, which contains all the fields.

Cohort fields:

  1. Name: Each cohort must have a unique name within the project (required; max length: 100 characters).
  2. Project: You can only select projects for which you have change-permissions. If the project list is empty, you must first create a project through the project page (required).
  3. Subjects: All subjects included in the cohort must belong to the selected project (required).
  4. Description: A text description of the cohort, which helps in providing additional context and information.
  5. Tags: Tags offer a way to organize and label cohorts for quick identification and filtering purposes.

Permissions

Cohorts inherit permissions from the associated project. You can only add subjects to the cohort that is part of the same project.

Cohort API Access

The API allows for programmable access to cohorts. For detailed information about the Cohorts' fields and data structure, please refer to the documentation.
